I am extremely fortunate to be a very proud Godmother. I have 3 godchildren and they are all wonderful. Needless to say, the little people in your life always require remembering at Christmas and on their birthdays. I don’t know about you, but as a crafty type I usually want to make then something.
When bundles of joy arrive in my world I usually welcome them with a cardigan and a cashmere bunny. But what to give to the little darlings when they’re all about moving around, discovering things and crawling and playing? In the course of my
Internet trawl looking for ideas for my beautiful Goddaughter Isabel’s Christmas present I came across this fantastic tutorial from
Rae at Made By Rae which have me the idea for this:

I didn't link them together as Rae did - but put
them all in a bag so that she can delve about in it and discover the letters in there. The cherry fabric has been in my stash for an age and I've been wanting to use it for a while. Have to admit that the cross-stitch name badge was a bit of a
labour of love... haven't done any of that for years - but I think it worked out quite well in the end.
