(just liked this picture - I'm not growing my own lavender)
Been thinking further about other things that can go in jars as Christmas presents and have come up with a few more ideas:
- Bath Salts - easy to follow instructions here
- Lemon Curd (my granny used to make this.... a proper old fashioned treat)
- Mincemeat - a good festive present - particularly for those that you'll see in the run-up rather than on the day
I've since realised that I don't actually have any jars - I have been very conscientious and managed to take them to the recycling..... this poses an issue - do i a) clean out my cupboards and throw out all the stuff currently in jars that might possibly never get eaten or do I buy some lovely kilner jars on eBay?
I definitely know what the right Frugal decision is.... and at the end of the day - I could probably pick up a kilner jar of lavender bath salts in a £1 shop.... but it wouldn't have the same significance now would it? oh dear..... can you advise please?

That photo is awesome! I like your blog too :)
